Evidently, this was too much for The Washington Post website. Despite that Ms. Shue has made a movie, Gracie, which is a fictionalized account of her teenage battle with bulimia, and has appeared on national television with her brother to discuss the subject, it is impossible to refer to it in jest in comments about a humor column.
